Welcome to the Copdock Mill website.

We, H.G Gladwell & Sons, have been trading at our site at Copdock Mill for over 80 years. Originally the site of a water mill, the production has progressively changed to being powered by a range of stationary engines up to its current form, which is entirely electric.

Until about 20 years ago we traded, almost exclusively, with the agricultural sector supplying animal feeds, cereals and fertilisers. However in the late 1970's we began to supply the pet trade with coarse mixes such as rabbit mixes and we have developed this side of business to a stage where it dominates the activity of the Company.
